LaMelo Ball and PUMAs alleged $200 Million damage draws lawsuit from Big Baller Brand cofounder

In light of recent events, the famous Big Baller Brand owned by LaVar Ball is being sued by its co-founder Alan Foster. Foster is set to sue the founder of the company including LaVar’s wife Tina Ball, his son LaMelo Ball who currently plays for the Charlotte Hornets, and as well as the popular sneaker brand PUMA alleging that they had deceived him of tens of millions of dollars.

In a lawsuit, Alan Foster, the co-founder of the Big Baller Brand, argues that he came up with the idea for LaMelo Ball’s MB1 line when Lamelo was still a teenager. The lawsuit claims that Foster played a significant role in creating Melo’s first signature shoe line and even filed for trademarks to establish his credit for the idea.

Foster said MB1 did well. He thinks LaVar Ball, the BBB owner, made a new version to kick him out and took his trademark for big money. The lawsuit says LaMelo Ball got a big deal with PUMA. Foster says PUMA copied his idea for the guard’s shoe and used his trademarks for the new MB.01 line.

LaMelo Ball, Big Baller Brand, and Puma are facing a $200 million lawsuit filed by Alan Foster, his former friend and business advisor.

The lawsuit alleges unfair business practices, fraud, and trademark infringement.

In the lawsuit filed, Alan Foster wrote:

LaMelo was instrumental in creating his first signature shoe with Big Baller Brand. He was fully aware of the existence of the LaMelo Trademarks -- he helped design them! He knew that his Big Baller Brand signature shoe was called the 'MB1' and that the name was protected by federal trademark.
