The National Volleyball Association (NVA) launched its 2023 season on April 7th, marking the commencement of the premier professional indoor volleyball league in the United States. The league features a total of 12 teams, which have been carefully divided into two conferences: the American Conference and the National Conference. Within each conference, two divisions are established, namely the Coastal and the Central divisions.
The American Conference consists of the Las Vegas Ramblers, the Matadors of the Americas, and the Southern Exposure in the Coastal division, while the Central division is represented by the Utah Stingers, the Philadelphia Founders, and the San Diego Wild. In the National Conference, the Coastal division includes the OC Stunners, the New Jersey Freedom, and the Puerto Rico Pythons, whereas the Central division comprises the Texas Tyrants, the Chicago Untouchables, and the LA Blaze.
On 25th June 2023, Ontario Matadors will compete against Team Freedom at the National Volleyball Association (NVA), USA. The Matadors have managed to win two games in the seven matches they have played and stand second in the American Coastal division with six points. On the other hand, Team Freedom have claimed three victories and three losses in the six games they have played and are second in the National Coastal Division.

The NVA upholds the regulations and principles established by FIVB, the worldwide governing body for volleyball. During the postseason of the NVA, a total of eight teams will engage in competition, with four teams selected from each conference. The teams that emerge victorious in their respective divisions will secure an automatic qualification to participate in the playoffs. Furthermore, the remaining two positions in each conference will be filled by the teams with the most impressive records beyond the division winners.
