WATCH: John Daly makes a stylish appearance out of golf for Manscapeds latestcommercial

John Daly might be a forgotten legend in golf currently, but it is undeniable that he was one of the most loved stars of the PGA Tour. He is best known for his driving distance off the tee and some controversial incidents that have followed him throughout his career. However, his victories at the 1991 PGA Championship and the playoff victory in the 1995 Open Championship are often fondly remembered by fans.

Daly might have lost his relevance in contemporary golf, but that does not mean he has lost everything. The current PGA Tour Champions golfer has several successful businesses and has even recorded and written his music albums. Recently, he appeared in the grooming company Manscaped’s beard trimmer commercial. Daly was rocking it out with a classy long grey beard and grey hair. Alongside him, his son John Daly Jr. is featured in the commercial.

In the ad, John Daly tells Junior about the traditions of shaving body hair back in his day. However, Daly senior gets schooled by Junior for using Manscaped’s brand new Beard Hedger just for his face.

While John Daly might not have had a remarkable career, his son does have potential going forward in the PGA.

In the commercial, the father-son duo promotes Manscaped’s latest product, The Beard Hedger. This new beard trimmer has an intuitive zoom wheel wherein users can select up to 20 different lengths for a custom trim every time. Furthermore, the device is run on a Lithium-ion battery with a 60-minute run time per charge.

John Daly has won 5 PGA Tour events and 3 European Tour events. He won his last PGA Tour victory in 2004 in San Diego. Daly had a raging alcohol problem and has admitted that quitting alcohol seriously helped him regain his shape and form. Since 2016, Daly has been a part of the PGA Tour Champions circuit and has won the 2017 Insperity Invitational. He has never competed in the Ryder Cup despite winning two major golf championships.

Daly also appears in several video games, such as Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots Golf 3, and in the Tiger Woods PGA Tour from 2004 to 2009.
